* Web guidelines
The University of South Carolina welcomes the opportunity and the potential
of publishing on the Internet, and so allows and encourages students, staff,

departments may create electronic Web pages that carry out official University
business in support of the University's mission. Content of all Web pages must
be consistent with the University of South Carolina policies as well as local,
state, and federal laws. This includes links to other pages or Web sites. A Web
site may be considered in violation if it contains links to a page that violates the policy.
All official University Web sites must follow Web Presence compliance guidelines.
The Web Presence Committee provides standard templates and authoring guidelines to
assist departments and offices in Web site development. The Web Presence Project
was developed to create a uniform "look and feel" for University Web pages.
* The Web Presence Committee endorses these guidelines.
