Amitesh Shrivastava

    

Background: 

     Amitesh Shrivastava joined Professor Sudarshan’s research team in August 2004 as a Graduate Research Assistant. He has done his Bachelors in Metallurgical Engineering from Government Engineering College , Raipur ( India ) and M.Tech in Materials & Metallurgical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur ( India ). He is currently working on Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) of SiC.

 

Research:

     Amitesh’s research is focused on growth of epitaxial layers of SiC and Characterization of defects. His project includes growth on low offcut substrates of 4H-SiC. Another project he is currently conducting is the characterization of carrier lifetime in epilayers. He is a key researcher for a number of research projects assigned by Office of Naval Research and Department of Defense. Till now, Amitesh has authored/coauthored 3 peer-reviewed articles in the major scientific journals, such as Applied Physics Letters and Material Science Forum.
