Opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position

The NESL group has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral research associate starting Fall 2008. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities: The candidate will be mainly responsible for fabrication of nanoelectronic and micro/nanoelectromechnaical devices using photolithographic and e-beam lithographic techniques, and their structural/electrical/mechanical characterization. Other responsibilities may include grant proposal writing and general lab supervision.

Requirements: An earned doctoral degree (preferably from an accredited US university), and a strong background in semiconductor materials and devices is required. Sufficient device fabrication and measurement skills are also needed to begin work immediately on multiple projects involving device fabrication. Structural characterization experiences with SEM, AFM, TEM, etc., especially with nanoscale structures, will be a plus.
