Current Research
The main focus of my research is to detect chemical and bio molecules using resonant microcantilevers. Appropriate sensing materials exhibit change in electrical, chemical or mechanical properties due to adsorption of the target molecules. This change can be efficiently detected by microcantilevers utilizing their high sensitivity. I am also focused on simulating the behavior of resonant cantilevers using ANSYS in order to achieve higher sensitivity.
During my MSc studies I carried out theoretical modeling of the conduction through gate oxide MOS devices using quantum mechanical approach. I was focused on the conduction that occurs after the gate undergoes Soft Breakdown event.
