ResearchProf. Dougal’s research currently focuses on power electronics, new concepts for power sources and systems, and software that supports the design and implementation of such multidisciplinary systems. |

TeachingDr. D has taught the EE capstone design course, ELCT 402, since 1999. This is an interdisciplinary system design/build course, generally having robotic systems as the design goal. During Fall 2007, Prof. Dougal will teach a new graduate course on Photovoltaic Power Sources and Systems. |
