- All supply items including equipment can be returned during the posted hours for the
supply room.
- Always make sure you have initialed (or signed) the account sheet before leaving the
area.
- For your own protection make sure the TA or clerk has initialed your return account.
- Some expendable parts must be returned, even if they are worthless. Be prepared to
return all parts on your list, even the "burned-out" ones. You are not responsible for
replacing expendables regardless of their condition as long as they are returned. If you
discard these parts you will be required to replace them.
- Equipment items must be returned in good condition. You will not be responsible for
normal wear-and-tear on these instruments, but in the event of major damage or abuse,
you will be required to replace or repair the item.
- The default return date for all items is the last "class" day of the semester unless
authorized by a faculty member.
- Do not keep items with the idea of using them in the next lab course. Return them and
have them reassigned for use in the new course.
- If parts and equipment are not returned by the expected return date, your instructor
will be notified and your grade may be held or you will receive a "NR" until the items
are returned.
