  1. All supply items including equipment can be returned during the posted hours for the supply room.
  2. Always make sure you have initialed (or signed) the account sheet before leaving the area.
  3. For your own protection make sure the TA or clerk has initialed your return account.
  4. Some expendable parts must be returned, even if they are worthless. Be prepared to return all parts on your list, even the "burned-out" ones. You are not responsible for replacing expendables regardless of their condition as long as they are returned. If you discard these parts you will be required to replace them.
  5. Equipment items must be returned in good condition. You will not be responsible for normal wear-and-tear on these instruments, but in the event of major damage or abuse, you will be required to replace or repair the item.
  6. The default return date for all items is the last "class" day of the semester unless authorized by a faculty member.
  7. Do not keep items with the idea of using them in the next lab course. Return them and have them reassigned for use in the new course.
  8. If parts and equipment are not returned by the expected return date, your instructor will be notified and your grade may be held or you will receive a "NR" until the items are returned.
