Congratulations to Jordan Rogers!
We would like to congratulate Jordan Rogers for the successful defense of his MS Thesis, "Comparative Analysis of Current Control Methods of Modular Multilevel Converters" on January 5th, 2016. Mr. Rogers' thesis focused on the implementation of three different current control strategies and the performance variations between them. His research established a novel approach to predictive arm-current control that has the benefit of inherently reduced circulating currents within the converter's phase units.
Shown here with Jordan are committee members Dr. Andrea Benigni and Dr. Herb Ginn (advisor).
Congratulations again Jordan, we wish you all the best!
