| Dr. M. Asif Khan has been named an IEEE Fellow in recognition of his work in the area of III-nitride electronic sensor systems. This is the highest grade of membership in the IEEE and is considered one of the Institute's most prestigious honors.
Dr. Khan was recommended for this membership by the IEEE Fellow Committee, and was elected an IEEE Fellow effective on January 1, 2006 by the IEEE Board of Directors at their 13 November, 2005 meeting with the
following citation:
for contributions to the development of III-nitride electronic sensor systems.
