Electrical Engineering Grad Student supports USC Sponsored FIRST Robotics Team

EE Graduate student Stephen Kowski (right) helps the USC-sponsored FIRST Robotics team Los Pollos Loco show off their handiwork to CEC Dean Amiridis (left) and USC President Pastides (middle) during a recent press briefing. Stephen chose to attend graduate school at USC partly because of his interest in the power electronics research group of which he is a member, and partly because the college offered him the opportunity to start a high school robotics incubator team. In his “other life” as a graduate student, Stephen is developing energy storage technologies that are being incorporated into an electric vehicle.
