The University of South Carolina Department of Electrical Engineering Presents Reception Honoring the Gregory Professorship in Electrical Engineering When: Wednesday, January 17, at 4:30PM until 6:00PM Where: Front Lobby, Swearingen Center There will be a reception for the Gregory Professorship in Electrical Engineering on Wednesday afternoon, January 17th, 2007. The reception will be at 4:30PM until about 6:00PM. Mr. Tommy Gregory, his two daughters and two grandsons will be in attendance along with other selected guests. This will be to honor Mr. Gregory for sponsoring this Professorship and there will be a presentation to Dr. Roger Dougal during the reception. Mr. Gregory, together with his brother James, co-foundered the Gregory Electric Company in Columbia, SC in 1949. The company has grown to serve the Southeast, operating now in 9 states. |
