Accelerated Schedule for Combined
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in 4 1/2 Years

An accelerated schedule enables a student to complete the requirements for both a Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree in only 4 1/2 years (9 semesters). This is accomplished by structuring the schedule to allow the student to take graduate-level coursework in the fourth year. An extra semester is needed to complete the 30 hours of graduate-level coursework required for the Master's Degree.

The acceleration of the schedule begins in the second semester of the second year, with the student completing a Liberal Arts Elective course normally taken in the fourth year. The third year is changed with the completion of two elective courses, a Liberal Arts Elective course and a Career Plan Elective course, normally completed in the fourth year. These changes allow the addition of five graduate courses during the fourth year.

Graduate Semester

The Graduate Semester allows the student to complete the coursework required to obtain a Master's Degree. It consists of 5 graduate courses.

Course Schedule

The accelerated course schedule required to complete the two degrees in 4 1/2 years is shown below. Changes from the normal Bachelor's Degree schedule are marked in Blue.
